Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a combat sport that focuses on ground fighting, with the goal of gaining a dominant position and submitting your opponent, while taking minimal damage to yourself. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger opponent, by using leverage, and proper technique. BJJ has many joint-locks and chokeholds from various positions that can force an opponent to submit. Many MMA fighters have Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as their base art for competition.
Our goal is to teach you how to use technique & leverage to submit your opponent...not just size or strength!

Monday and Wednesday
- Open rolling (sparring) at 6pm and instruction begins at 7pm.

Tuesday
This class is more of an open format with many students choosing to roll (spar) and many students pick positions to work on and ask question to instructors regarding their techniques. Newer students are welcome, however there is limited instruction on Tuesdays. There are always several higher belts on hand to including instructors to roll with and ask questions to.

The only equipment requirements are a GI and a Groin Protector
